Job Description \ Location
Responsible for providing administrative assistance to the SHEQ Department
Providing SHEQ onboarding for new hires
Manage enrollments in training programs
Distribute/contribute the monthly SHEQ newsletter and Weekly Safety Bulletin
Update the TV monitor in the lunchroom
Monthly reports (non KPI) for Safe Start training, manager reminders and compliance for the client
Update of Cognibox, Avetta, ISNetworld for documentation and compliance for the client
Coordinate with travel agent and assist in travel arrangement for the SHEQ department
Perform special studies and carry out special assignments, as required
Monitoring of the SHEQ mailbox
Audit Support i.e. meeting minutes, follow up reminders
Work Experience
Must be bilingual
Minimum experience of 3 years
Experience / knowledge with ISO 9001X,14001 and 45001
Mining / manufacturing experience preferred
Excellent attendance
A proven self starter, motivated, and able to work with the minimum of supervision and in a team environment
Microsoft Office proficient (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Excellent communication skills, highly personable, time management skills, problem solving skills
Education \ Certification
Preferred 2-year College Diploma as Administrative Assistant
Wages \ Terms of Employment
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: Up to $95,000 per year
Expected hours: 40 per week
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
