Job Title: Winter Road Maintenance / Snow Plow Drivers

Job Description \ Location

The worksite is in the Kenora and Fort Francis Area. You would be flown in and out to work shifts.
  • Removal of snow and ice by using snow removal and/or sanding equipment
  • Completion of pre-trip and post trip inspections
  • Safely operate snow plowing trucks and equipment
  • Any other duties as required
 Accommodation and meal allowance per day provided.

Work Experience

  • Previous snow plowing experience is an asset
  • Willing to work days, nights, or weekends
  • Must possess a clean drivers abstract
  • Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
  • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors

Education \ Certification

  • Must have a valid AZ or DZ driver license and clean drivers abstract

Wages \ Terms of Employment

  • Up to $26.29 per hour.
  • DZ Driver $25.12/hr
  • AZ Driver $26.29/hr
  • Overtime depending on schedule
  • Flights to be provided
  • Accommodation and meal allowance per day provided.
  • Benefits after 3 months
  • 8% vacation pay
  • Contract position seasonal, potential year-round work
  • Seasonal Staff receive $250.00 after 1 year of service
