Job Description \ Location

  • Receives goods into inventory, including unpacking and verifying contents against appropriate documents; ensures received goods are accurately input into the computer.
  • Prepares packages to be sent out in accordance with information on the packing slip
  • Stock shelves with received shipments, using the appropriate sorting/organization system and equipment, including forklifts
  • Operates forklift and activities within the work area in a safe manner.
  • Validate product inventory
  • Maintain a clean working area
  • Update and maintain computer system
  • Coordinate shipping products to proper destinations
  • Maintain a proper stock ratio on inventory items
  • Reconcile shipping contents against packing slips or documentation

Work Experience

Forklift experience
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in industrial warehouse
  • Significant use of memory
  • Able to multi-task
  • Able to work well with others

Education \ Certification

  • Valid WHMIS certification
  • Valid Forklift certification
  • Valid Health and Safety Awareness certification

Wages \ Terms of Employment

  • $20.00 an hour
  • Full-time
  • Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
  • Could lead to a permanent position
