Electrical Shop Supervisor position for a Heavy Equipment Shop
  • Scheduling daily work for shop repairs.
  • Monitoring time entry and ensuring all required documents are filled out.
  • Supporting the Planner with job requirements, including obtaining outside supplier quotations.
  • Assisting in job planning and quality control.
  • Ensuring the quality of all products and completed work.
  • Allocating time on a daily basis.
  • Maintaining shop equipment, tools, and supplies.
  • Executing planned workloads and attending meetings with the planner.
  • Managing parts ordered by mechanics.
  • Handling external repairs and defining scopes of work.
  • Collaborating with the Planner and Product Manager National Shop for customer quote

Work Experience

  • Proficiency in written communication (quotations, reports, meeting minutes, summaries).
  • Excellent verbal communication and interaction skills.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • A strong mechanical background.
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, Excel, and multiple databases.

Education \ Certification

  • Red Seal licensed electrician

Wages \ Terms of Employment

Can lead to permanent position
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
  • Shifts: Daytime and afternoon.
  • Hourly Rate: $50.00 per hour.
