Open Pit Mining – Northern Ontario | Up to $150,000/year

Diagnose, repair, and maintain open pit mining equipment, including:
D65 drill rigs, Pit Viper drills
Other large open pit mobile equipment as required
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Complete work orders and maintenance records accurately and on time
Work closely with supervisors and operators to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime
Follow all site safety policies, procedures, and lockout/tagout requirements
Contribute to a positive, professional work environment in a remote camp setting

Licensed Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic (or equivalent experience; Red Seal an asset)
Previous experience working on open pit mining equipment (D65s, Pit Vipers, or similar drills strongly preferred)
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills on hydraulics, engines, and heavy mobile equipment
Ability to work safely in a remote, outdoor mining environment and in all weather conditions
Comfortable working 12-hour shifts on a rotational schedule (2 weeks in / 2 weeks out)
Valid driver’s license and clean abstract (asset)
Ability to pass pre-employment checks as required by the client (e.g., drug/alcohol testing, criminal record check)
