Job Description \ Location

We are currently seeking many skilled and dedicated Heavy Duty Shop Mechanics to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in heavy machinery maintenance and repair, with a commitment to exceptional service and teamwork.
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain mobile mining equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks including inspections, lubrication, and part replacements
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs and assembly work
  • Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot issues
  • Perform heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate techniques and equipment
  • Test repaired machinery to ensure proper operation before returning it to service
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
  • Requirements
 OT after 40 hours

Work Experience

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and assembly processes
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy machinery when required
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in customer service is advantageous for interacting with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs

Education \ Certification

  • Experienced, Valid Class A or Truck and Coach Mechanic license

Wages \ Terms of Employment

  • Pay: Up to CA$56.00 per hour
  • Day shift - Mon-Fri 8 hours a day
  • Afternoon Shift - Mon-Thru 10 hrs a day
  • OT after 40 hours
  • Dental care
  • Extended health care
