Automotive Mechanics looking for change?
  • Disassembly of mining equipment ready for rebuild.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
  • Review diagrams and assemble equipment
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot, electrical & hydraulic systems
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Test assembled equipment
  • Shift work, weekends and overtime if required
  • Adhere to safety policies and standards.
  • Keep shop, equipment, and tools in safe operating condition

Work Experience

  • 2 to 5 years of experience

Education \ Certification

  • 3rd Period Apprentice, 4th Period Apprentice or experienced Mechanic
  • Heavy Duty Equipment or Truck and Coach Mechanic Trade Certification an asset

Wages \ Terms of Employment

  • Up to $35.00 per hour depending on experience
  • Day shift and afternoon shift
  • Benefits and pension to follow
