Job Description \ Location

7 days in 7 days out, company vehicle provided
  • Maintaining and repairing underground equipment
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
  • Locate and requisition all parts needed for vehicle repair.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance and preventive care
  • Establish preventive maintenance and care schedules
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
  • Use diagnostic equipment to evaluate mechanical problems in vehicles
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and efficiency
  • Perform data entry into various database systems
 Accommodations and meal allowance provided

Work Experience

  • 2 to 3 years of underground mechanical experience

Education \ Certification

  • Licensed mechanic an asset
  • Must hold a valid driver`s license
  • Service type common core would be an asset.

Wages \ Terms of Employment

Company vehicle to drive to site provided availability
  • 7 days in 7 days out
  • Overtime after 8 hours
  • $48.00 to $51.00 per hour
  • Can lead to permanent position with excellent benefit package
